A specialist Intrusion Related Gold System (IRGS) explorer, Tectonic Gold is developing technology to identify and delineate IRGS systems focusing on a portfolio of projects in the New England Orogen gold belt in Queensland.

Using a Radium Advance, Signature was able to invest in getting a team into the goldfield to complete a major drilling campaign ahead of the rainy season.
By using a range of modern geophysical and geochemical tools that were unavailable to previous explorers, Signature Gold successfully identified multimillion ounce target systems previously untested at depth and under cover. These targets have been independently verified and have recently been reclassified as IRGS deposits.
First mover advantage for future reward
Signature Gold was an early mover in building its Queensland portfolio, and now counts major players AngloGold, Evolution and Zijin Mining, China’s largest gold producer, as its neighbours.
Signature’s IRGS deposits were misinterpreted by previous explorers due to factors such as insufficient or outdated exploration technology and a lack of understanding of IRGS systems.
Now the recent arrival of major gold companies in the region has coincided with a growing interest from international producers in Australian assets with scale potential. This is providing an ideal environment for Tectonic to find development partners for this portfolio, and produce early returns for shareholders.
